We have designed our History curriculum to meet the needs of the children at Weeton.

We hope it will inspire children’s curiosity and develop their understanding about the lives of people who lived in the past.  We think it is important to look at this in the context of our local area and across the world to understand ourselves and a variety of other cultures.

We strive to make historians who are inquisitive, knowledgeable and resilient with a love of History. Our teaching of History is closely linked to children’s experiences and a sense of wonder is developed through the use of artefacts, educational visits, visitors and multimedia resources.
