Music

All children at Weeton Primary have access to the music curriculum. This focuses on singing and playing both tuned and untuned instruments, including the glockenspiel and recorder. They will use these skills when working on improvisation and composition.

In Year 5 the children get the opportunity to learn the saxophone, as part of the Whole Class Instrumental Tuition (WCITs), taught by Lancashire County Council (LCC).

A whole school singing assembly is held once a week.

We offer peripatetic keyboard, piano and guitar lessons, which are taught and supplied by LCC. Please contact the school office for more information.
